While it may not be an exact 1:1 comparison, Ghost Recon Frontline may give a glimpse into the future of Assassin's Creed Infinity. Ubisoft did not offer many excuses for the cancellation of the four games, apart from they would be placing more focus on their “biggest development opportunities” and that the company had “reduced pipeline assumptions” for next year to take into account the “uncertainty of the economic environment”.
